Meghan Markle Responds To The King’s Choice To Revoke Her Royal Title

Meghan Markle has responded to King Charles and Prince William regarding discussions about removing her and Prince Harry’s royal titles.

A source close to the Duchess of Sussex shared her thoughts on the situation, emphasizing that stripping their titles would be unwise.

Royal commentator Tom Quinn mentioned that the King and Prince of Wales have engaged in talks about the Sussexes’ titles. However, he suggested that they would prefer to avoid giving Meghan and Harry further reasons to voice their grievances.

According to the insider, both William and Charles understand that even without their titles, Meghan and Harry would continue to travel and be received warmly by the public.

The source warned that any move to strip the couple of their titles might backfire on the royal family. “They could end up looking foolish,” the insider remarked.

“For many, especially those unfamiliar with royal protocols, Harry and Meghan will always be seen as ‘prince’ and ‘duke and duchess,’ regardless of the King’s actions. Thus, stripping their titles would be pointless and could make Charles and William seem petty.”
