Man Stops To Urinate, Drives 100 Miles Before Realizing Wife Was Left Behind

If you’ve ever been on a road trip, you understand how absorbed you can become in the journey. The last thing anyone wants is an interruption that wastes time. However, during one incident in Thailand, a holiday trip took an unexpected turn for a couple. After finishing his restroom break, a husband hopped back into the truck and unintentionally left his wife behind.

The situation was unfortunate on multiple levels, although thankfully, no one was harmed. The events led to a serious discussion upon their reunion. Here’s how it unfolded: the husband, Boontom Chaimoon, 55, accidentally left his wife, Amnuay Chaimoon, 49, on the roadside around 3 AM. This made the situation particularly challenging for Amnuay.

While Boontom attended to his needs, Amnuay wondered why he hadn’t stopped at a gas station. Needing to use the restroom herself, she found a secluded spot among the bushes. Upon returning to the vehicle, she discovered it was gone, and her husband was nowhere in sight. This left her in a difficult situation as her cell phone was inside the car. With no alternative, she embarked on a 12.5-mile journey on foot alone in the middle of the night to seek help.

The next part of the story will detail what happened when Amnuay finally reached assistance.
