Pickled Cherry Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients:
1 kg cherry tomatoes
2 cups white vinegar
2 cups water
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon whole peppercorns
4 garlic cloves, peeled
4 sprigs of fresh dill
Instructions:
Prepare the Jars: Sterilize your jars by boiling them in water for 10 minutes.
Fill the Jars: Add garlic cloves, peppercorns, and dill to each jar. Tightly pack the cherry tomatoes inside.
Make the Brine: In a pot, mix vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring it to a boil, ensuring everything is dissolved.
Add Brine to Jars: Pour the hot brine over the tomatoes, leaving about half an inch of space at the top.
Seal and Process: Close the jars with lids and process them in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Cool and Store: Allow the jars to cool completely, then store them in a cool, dark area. For optimal flavor, let the tomatoes pickle for at least a week before enjoying.
