Teen Girl Sees Her Dad In An Unusual Place, Quickly Takes A Photo When She Understands The Reason

A touching photo of a man supporting his wife during her cancer treatment has gained widespread attention online.

Marci Newman recently received a diagnosis of thyroid cancer and has been undergoing radiation therapy, which requires her to stay isolated. Despite this, her husband, Jon Newman, made sure to remain close by.

One day, their 17-year-old daughter, Mackenna, returned home from school to find her father sitting outside her mother’s room, which had its door slightly ajar.

Mackenna snapped a picture of this heartfelt moment and shared it on social media.

“My mom is in isolation for her radiation treatment, so my dad set up a desk at her door to keep her company. I’m in tears,” Mackenna posted on Twitter.

The image quickly went viral, garnering over 71,000 retweets and more than 172,000 likes. Many users expressed their support for Mackenna and her family.

Marci shared that Jon’s supportive gestures are not unusual. “He attends every appointment, every test, and every treatment. If he can’t be right by my side, he stays as close as possible!”
