A Renowned Hollywood Actor In A Gray Shirt Hurried To Assist A Woman Trapped In A Car After A Crash

Actor Harrison Ford was photographed assisting a woman after her car veered off California State Route 126 and crashed.

Ford, aged 75 at the time, witnessed a gray vehicle swerve off the road into an embankment, according to TMZ. He and several other drivers stopped to help the driver.

The woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, as confirmed by local law enforcement officials.

Photos emerged online showing Ford conversing with first responders at the scene. Reports indicated Ford was driving behind the woman when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed.

Senior Officer Matt Alonzo of the Santa Paula Police Department described the incident, noting the sedan had rolled off the highway and struck a tree, as reported by USA Today.

Alonzo further mentioned that Ford, accompanied by a friend, heard the crash and promptly pulled over to assist. They joined others in extracting the woman from her vehicle.

“He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived,” Alonzo told USA Today.

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle during the incident. The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash.

Ford had reportedly been departing from a small airport near Santa Paula, commonly used by hobbyist pilots.

Known for his enthusiasm for aviation, the “Indiana Jones” actor has been involved in two aviation incidents since 2015.

In one incident, Ford flew his Aviat Husky single-engine propeller plane directly over an American Airlines Boeing 737 carrying 116 passengers, according to the Daily Mail. He later landed on a taxiway at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, citing distraction by nearby jets.

In another incident in March 2015, Ford sustained injuries after crash-landing his vintage World War II aircraft, a 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR, at the Penmar Golf Course near Santa Monica Airport in Venice, California.

This wasn’t the first time the “Star Wars” actor had been observed assisting at a traffic accident.

Ford previously directed traffic in New York City following a crash near the Midtown Tunnel, despite not being directly involved in the collision.
